Men's Luncheon

We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Our next luncheon will be Wednesday, January 25th, at 12:00 noon, at Pat's Pizza. All men are encouraged to join this group!

Men's Fall Retreat Recap

Men from four congregations gathered at Glorious Presence Church on Friday and Saturday, October 22 and 23. We had a terrific time. Here are some of the activities & events that took place:

Some guys went mountain biking, some played volleyball, some played guitars, some enjoyed the weather and talked.

Our theme was: Armor Up for War. Our Keynote Speaker was The Rev. Dr. David Scolforo, a Vietnam veteran, Professor of Psychology, and Doctor of Ministry. Other speakers included: Pastor Robert McKnight, The Rev. Christopher Leins, and Pastor Matthew Kenenske. Their presentations were incredibly stirring and very practical. Pastor Matthew Kenenske and men from Crossroads led us in worship. It was loud, powerful and inspiring. Also, they provided pizza pies of every kind...more than you could eat.

Pastor Benjamin Feliciano and the men of La Iglesia Maranatha prepared a phenomenal Spanish dinner. It was hot and spicy and too good.

Pastor Jim Bellin and the men of Divine Presence Church fixed us a huge Saturday morning breakfast. We ate for an hour and went back for more.

Dennis Blevins, a Certified Personal Chef and member of GPC, prepared our Saturday night feast. What a great way to end our Mighty Men of God Retreat!
